Dedication To The Profession From Dennis L. Martire

For more than three decades, Dennis L. Martire has held a significant commitment to his fellow man. More specifically, to his fellow labor union working man. This dedication surrounds his professional work as vice president and regional manager for the mid-Atlantic region of the Laborers’ International Union of North America. This elected role was bestowed upon Martire thanks to his many successes in fighting for the working man and his rights within a labor union, and Martire’s maintained this elected position since 2002 — more than a full decade after he began with LIUNA.

In his 30-year career, Martire has improved the rights of labor unions, helped to increased wages for labor union members — including rising them to a fair wage in some areas — and implemented new unions across his mid-Atlantic area. He’s represented these working individuals among boards and committees and shared his vast knowledge through important training programs. It may be just a job, but it’s much more than that for Dennis L. Martire who strives consistently for those people within the LIUNA family.
